The City of Ottawa offers up to $1,250 in rebates through the Residential Protective Plumbing Program when you install flood-prevention plumbing in an existing home.
Eligible work may include a mainline backwater valve, sump pump installation and foundation-drain disconnection, subject to city inspection and program rules.
A licensed plumber should quote the work, pull required permits and provide documentation before you submit your final rebate claim.
